Our first Digital GREAT Meeting is now over!

Creating an online event was new territory for us, but we turned this challenge into an opportunity as we were really determined to continue to bring together top experts and young investigators, along with industry partners, to discuss research topics (ranging from the diagnosis and management of patients with acute heart failure to acute myocardial infarction, syncope, sepsis, and acute abdominal pain).

We are extremely pleased to share that on October 30th we welcomed more than 150 attendants to our custom-made, state-of-the-art online platform.

Many participants appreciated the valuable contents of the presentations as well as the opportunity for young investigators to present their research despite all difficulties.

Thank you to all the participants, speakers and chairmen, to our industry partners and organisers!

We look forward to seeing you all next year in Rome at the GREAT XIV International Meeting 2021!

With these awards, the GREAT Scientific Committee wants to honour three Young Investigators in the early stage of their career with outstanding accomplishments.

	Dr. Kuan Ken LEE University of Edinburgh (UK) Research Group of Prof. Nick MILLS He is the First-Prize Winner with the presentation “NT-proBNP in the diagnosis of AHF: time to rethink guidelines?”
	Dr. Justina MOTIEJUNAITE Bichat University Hospital, Paris (FRANCE) Research Group of Prof. Alexandre MEBAZAA She is the Second-Prize Winner with the presentation “Biological Sex & Outcome in AHF”
	Dr. Alexandra PREPOUDIS University Hospital, Basil (Switzerland) Research Group of Prof. Christian MUELLER She is the Third-Prize Winner with the presentation “Heart & Muscle”
